William "Bill" Francis Schneider

William “Bill” Francis Schneider, 58, of Hughesville, MD passed away in Prince Frederick, MD on October 12, 2015. Bill was born on June 4, 1957 in Bethesda, MD to John Edward, Sr and Agnes Gorman Schneider. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology from the University of Maryland. He was employed as an insurance salesman. Bill lived in Del Ray, Florida for many years before returning to this area several months ago. His many hobbies included playing basketball, playing the drums, riding motorcycles, listening to Blues music and sipping his Starbucks. Bill was known for his generous spirit and his willingness to do anything to help another person. Bill is survived by his mother, Agnes Schneider of Washington, DC; his son, Christopher Schneider of Florida; brothers, John Schneider, Jr. and his wife Marguerite of Montgomery Village, MD and Fred Schneider of Washington, DC; sister, Mary Swann and her husband Pete of Hughesville, MD and niece, Ivy Marie Swann, also of Hughesville.
