William "Bill" Leo Moeller

William (Bill) Moeller, 93, of Fredericksburg, VA, was born on February 6, 1930 in Ruckers, Germany. At the age of 24, he immigrated to the United States to work for the family business, House of Fine Fabrics, for more than 30 years. In 1957 he met his wife of 67 years, Lorraine Frances Clarke who currently resides near their two daughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Augusta and Hermann Moeller and his sister, Rosa Zyla. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine and his two daughters, Theresa Hutchinson and Linda Lapera;  two sons-in-law, Tom Hutchinson and Jeff Roe, and his sister, Elisabeth Moeller. He was blessed with three grandchildren, Michael Lapera and his wife, Sunny Lapera, Cassie Johnson and her husband, Mike Johnson, and Sarah Hutchinson and one great-grandchild, Gabriella Johnson.

As an avid Redskins and soccer fan, he enjoyed many Sundays cheering on his favorite teams. Bill lived for his family and loved family celebrations especially anything German-related where he could yodel, sing, and dance. His eternal optimism and energy will be remembered by all of those who were blessed to know him.
