William Henry Pitts

William Henry Pitts, 82, of Dunkirk, MD passed away in his home on October 31, 2015.  He was born in Washington, DC on March 20, 1933 to the late Charles and Ruth Righter Pitts. He and his family lived in Bladensburg, MD before moving to Calvert County in 1971. William graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park. He served in the Unites States Army during the time of the Korean War and was last employed in park maintenance. 

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Phyllis; daughters, Tina Louise Mumaw of Prince Frederick, MD and Jennifer Pitts of Dunkirk. A son, Nathan Lee Pitts; brother, John Pitts and sister, Dorothy Leonarda have predeceased him.
