William Mathew " Munson" Mitchell

William Mathew Mitchell, 58, of Chesapeake Beach, MD (Formerly of Deale, MD) passed away on December 23, 2023. Billy was born on April 19, 1965 in Cheverly, MD to Jesse Herbert Mitchell, Jr. and Mary Willoughby Mitchell. He was employed as an HVAC mechanic at the time of his death. Billy was know for his sense of humor and was described by most  as a "character." He was also known as a loyal friend and as a wonderful uncle to his six nephews. 

Billy is survived by his mother, Mary Mitchell of Indian Head, MD; his life partner, Sherry Horseman of Chesapeake Beach; his brother, Mark (Tina) Mitchell of Indian Head and his nephews, Bryan, Benjamin, Kody, William, and Kevin Mitchell, Michael Cavanaugh and Jesse Mitchell and niece Amanda Mitchell as well as close cousins, Damon Willoughby, Joe Wilkinson and Blaine and Boston Willoughby. Billy was predeceased by his father, Jesse Mitchell, Jr., brother, Jesse Mitchell, III and cousins, George and Terry Mills.
