Wendy Joan Moore

Wendy Joan Moore, 75, of Salisbury, North Carolina died peacefully and in the company of her family at her residence on December 29, 2011. She was born on August 14, 1936 in Washington, DC. She was a long time resident of Calvert County. She loved her family, Christmas, visiting Cape May, NJ and

Disney World and watching Redskins football. She had a strong connection to her pets over the years and was known for her sense of humor and her joy in helping others. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Glascoe; her son, Steve Moore and wife Pamela; daughter Valerie Moore and husband Greg Myrick;

 granddaughters, Erin, Lindsay and Heather Moore and great-grand children, Gavin and June Rathell.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2012  at 11:30 am at Raymond-Wood Funeral Home in Dunkirk. Rev. Willie Davis will officiate.
