Thomas Anthony Baldwin, 63, of St. Leonard, MD passed away in Baltimore on August 17, 2020. Thomas was born in Maryland on November 28, 1952 to the late William and Kathryn Ryan Baldwin. He had lived in Calvert County his entire life. He was a fan of classic rock. Thomas owned and operated Custom Concepts and he loved anything having to do with cars, but he was definitely best known as "Mr. Tom" of Mr. Tom and Da' Critters. Thomas had a passion allowing people to meet and learn about all kinds of animals including a wide variety of reptiles (yes, big snakes), pigs, spiders and a variety of other creatures. He was a fixture at many Calvert County events, a friend in schools, a surprise at the grocery store and a frequent visitor to special needs homes. Mr. Tom also offered to rescue pets and place them in loving homes. He is survived by his sons, Ryan and Eric Baldwin, both of California, MD; daughter, Becca (husband, Rob Oyaski) Kane of Lothian and granddaughter Arabella Oyaski. In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his brother, Marty Baldwin.
