Terry Lynn (Mills) Thomas

Terry Lynn Thomas, 61, of La Plata, MD passed away on July 8, 2022 in La Plata. Terry was born on September 12, 1960 in Washington, DC to the late George Edward and Patricia Gillis Mills. Terry lived in Maryland her entire life. She graduated from Crossland High School and moved from Suitland to Southern Maryland years later. Terry worked at Food Lion and Giant Food for some time and she had been most recently been a school bus driver in Charles County, MD.

Terry was described by her sons as being very family-oriented. She truly had "loved ones," especially her grandson. Terry also enjoyed watching crime shows on TV, as well as The Smithsonian Channel. 

Terry is survived by her sons, Joseph, Jr. (Elizabeth) Bell of Dunkirk, MD and Jason Thomas of La Plata, MD; brother, Joe Wilkinson of La Plata, MD; sister, Denise Mills of Baltimore, MD and grandson, Damien Theodore Bell.
