Susan Elizabeth Senkow-Allen

Susan Elizabeth Senkow-Allen, 63, passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on May 24, 2023. She was born into a loving family in Frankfurt, Germany on August 28, 1959. After moving around Europe for much of her childhood, her family moved back to the U.S. when she was a young girl.

Susan was a down-to-earth, organized, logical person. She treasured her friendships with family and friends, from grade school to her career, and always stayed in touch with those that she cared for. Susan was a great home cook. A perfectionist, Susan loved her home and taking care of the people she loved. Susan loved planting flowers and beautifying her garden at her home. She always kept her eye out for animal friends that would visit her yard like deer, fox, and rabbits, and always kept her bird bath full of fresh water. On spring and summer evenings like these, you could find Susan on the deck overlooking the water and taking in the sunset with her best friend and husband, David.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Edletraud Luise Ludwig, her father Michael Senkow, and her brothers Michael and Richard. She is survived by her husband, David Michael Allen, step-daughter, Samantha, and cousins Ulrike Litzba and Bernard Ludwig of Germany.
