Shirley Mae Glascoe

 Shirley M. Glascoe, 85, of Prince Frederick died on February 18, 2012 in Charlotte Hall, MD. She was born in Washington, DC on September 18, 1926 to the late Robert and Lucille Storrey Orr. She became a homemaker and an Air Force wife who accompanied her husband to many duty stations including Germany and Texas. She enjoyed watching television, especially CNN, crosswords and trivia. She was an avid reader. 

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Chapple and husband Bob, Vicki Fallon and husband Merle and Lauren Oliphant and husband Bob; grandchildren, Kristy Chapple Smith, Carly Chapple Pumphrey, Ben Chapple, Bailey and Emma Fallon and grandchildren, Camdyn and Maycie Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Pete" Glascoe and her sister, Wendy Moore.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 2 to 3 pm. A memorial service will follow at 3 pm. Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Felines, P.O. Box 325, Port Republic, MD 20676.
