Ruth Ellen (Jackson) Money

Ruth Ellen Money, 64, of Lothian, MD passed away in Annapolis on August 30, 2021. Ruth was born on December 11, 1956 in Bethesda, MD to the late George R. and Mary E. Welch Jackson. She married Robert Money 47 years ago and the couple has made Lothian their home for the past 16 years. Ruth’s family described her a woman who “loved to work.” She was cook for over 30 years at Casa Blanca Café and Deli in Upper Marlboro and had most recently been employed at Anthony’s Bar and Grill in Dunkirk. Ruth’s hobbies included watching crime and murder mystery shows and socializing with friends and family.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, George Jackson of Huntingtown, MD and Ian (Tia) Money of Biloxi, MS; daughters, Marcy (Zachery King) Money of Brandywine, MD and Brooke Money of Lothian; three sisters, Cathy Jackson of Leonardtown, MD Tee Baker of Buckner, MO and Ann (Mark) Ernest of Tracys Landing, MD and seven grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ruth’s brothers, George R. Jackson, II, George R. Jackson and Todd Hawkins predeceased her.
