Richard Anthony Mundey

Richard Anthony Mundey, 49, of Lusby died suddenly at his home on October 13. 2011. He was born in Washington, DC to the late Raymond and Shirley Corcoran Mundey. He lived his entire life in the southern Maryland area and had most recently been employed by the Washington Post. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing sports. He was a Redskins fan.

Richard is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon; sons, Richard, Jr., Kenneth and wife Belinda Barney and Steven Mundey; brother Doug Rohme and wife Kristie; sisters, Annette Choiniere and her husband Alton; Mary Baxter and her husband, Rex; Deborah Roszel and her husband Mark and Elizabeth Rohme. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Hailie Mundey. His brother, Raymond, predeceased him.

Funeral services were held on October 18, 2011. Rev. Jason Baxter officiated. Many family members and friends offered remembrances. Interment was  private.
