Ralph Eugene Pumphrey, Jr., 81, of Chesapeake Beach, MD passed away on May 31, 2021 in Huntingtown, MD. Ralph was born on July 21, 1939 in Washington, DC to the late Ralph Eugene, Sr. and Margaret Wilson Pumphrey. Ralph married Margaret Murth and the couple had two children. Ralph had been employed as a loan officer for a mortgage company.

Ralph is survived by his son, Eugene (Lisa) Pumphrey; daughter, Sherry (Billy) Hurd; brother, Fred (Bobbi) Pumphrey; grandchildren, Candice (Nate) Wheelock, Kevin Pumphrey, Michael (Brandi) Pumphrey, and Katie (Lucas) Pumphrey; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Jaidyn Wheelock and Travis Pumphrey. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Pumphrey.
