Oliva "Ollie" Arthur Lafontaine, Jr.

Oliva "Ollie" Arthur Lafontaine, Jr., 69, of Lothian, MD passed away on March 7, 2020 in Washington, DC. Ollie was born on April 18, 1950 in Dover, New Hampshire to the late Oliver and Jeannette Fournier Lafontaine. He attended Spaulding High School in Rochester, New Hampshire and was a member of the Graniteer Drum Corps. Ollie worked for Cornerstone Bank in Derry, New Hampshire. He moved to Maryland in 1995 and became employed by the City of Alexandria Tax Department. Ollie enjoyed working in his yard and garden, planting flowers. He was an amateur photographer. Ollie was described as a loving brother and companion. Ollie is survived by his devoted partner of 44 years, Roger Cabana; sisters, Lena (Bernard) Michaud of Somersworth, NH; Denise Smith of New Durham,, NH and Theresa (Richard) Horne of Rochester, NH and many nieces and nephews. Ollie was predeceased by his brother-in-law, James Smith.
