Mildred Marie (Staples) Gibson

Mrs. Mildred Marie Gibson, 68, of Lexington Park, MD died in Washington, D.C. on August 30, 2012. She was born on September 6, 1943 in Washington, D.C. to the late John and Lillian Staples. She had worked as a receptionist at Malcolm Grow Medical Center and her hobbies included playing bingo, slot machines and going bowling.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Gibson; son Robert Gibson of Great Mills, MD; daughgters Cindy Wedding and her husband Victor of Lusby, MD and Barbara Thomas and her husband, Roger of Great Mills. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grand-children.

Interment will be held at Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Park, immediately following the the funeral services.
