Obituary
Margaret Lee “Maggie” Bowen, 68, of King George, VA, formerly of Prince Frederick, MD, passed away in Fredericksburg, VA on May 1, 2022. Maggie was born in Prince Frederick, MD on April 5, 1954 to the late George Thomas and Nellie Lee Greene Bowen.
Margaret had worked as both a home health provider and as a sales associate for Walmart. Maggie enjoyed creating arts and crafts projects. She was described as “big personality” and “fun-loving.” Maggie’s true love was her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her brothers, George (Becky) Bowen of Rappahannock Academy, VA and David Walter (Linda) Bowen, Sr, of Kingsport, TN; nieces and nephews, George (Denise) Bowen, Jr., Brandy (Joseph) Thorne, Nicholas Lee Bowen, D.J. Bowen, Christina (Mark) Barcomb, Emilee Barcomb, Landon Barcomb, Stephanie Bowen, Brittany Bowen, Dylan Thorne, Emily Thorne, Damian Thorne, Joel Thorne, Calvin Thorne, Nicholas Bowen, Jr, Allison Rae Bowen, Grayson Thorne, Tyler Darnall, Dally Horner, Robbie Wilson, Amber Wilson and Kinlee Argent
In addition to her parents, Maggie was predeceased by one brother, Tony Allen King.
