Lois Carol (Taylor) Crone

Lois Carol Crone, 84, of Clinton, MD passed away in Charlotte Hall, MD on October 13, 2019. Lois was born on January 29, 1935 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to the late Edmond and Carrie Wilson Taylor. She completed her education and began a distinguished career with the United States Air Force, serving as a personnel manager for 26 years. Lois was awarded several medals and commendations including an Air Force Commendation Medal; a Longevity Service Award; a National Defense Service Medal with a Bronze Star and a Meritorious Service Medal. Following her retirement from the military, Lois continued to work in personnel for the federal government, from which she also retired. Lois’s loved reading and baking and, even in the final days of her life, she spoke about baking and asked for supplies to create one of her excellent desserts. Lois is survived by her brother, Roger (Heidi) Taylor of Richmond, VA; sister, Lola Harness of Ohio; sister-in-law, Karen Taylor of Camp Springs, MD and six nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Donald Taylor.
