Joy Christine (Smith) Barnes

BARNES, Joy Christine , 52, of Dunkirk, MD died in Harwood, MD on June 29, 2011 after a brave battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, William “Billy” Barnes, Jr., of Dunkirk; daughter, Val Barnes and numerous other family members and close friends.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm ay Raymond-Wood Funeral Home, 10684 Southern Maryland Blvd., (Rt. 4 South), Dunkirk, MD 20754.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 12 noon at Smithville United Methodist Church, 3005 Ferry Landing Rd, Dunkirk, MD 20754.
Rev. Walter Beaudwin will officiate. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens, Dunkirk.
