John Burle Harris

John Burle Harris, 71, of Port Tobacco, MD passed away in Falls Church, Virginia on January 13, 2020. John was born in Washington, DC on October 30, 1948 to the late Leroy Edward and Juanita Edwards Harris. He was a member of the United States Army and served in Vietnam, earning several medals and badges including the National Defense and Vietnam Medals. After he returned home, John began a career as a commercial painter. His hobbies included fishing, watching television, collecting baseball trading cards and watching his team, The Washington Redskins. He also enjoyed simply spending time with his loved ones. John is survived by his brothers, Robert (Gloria) Harris of Huntingtown, MD, Joseph Harris, also of Huntingtown and Bernie Harris of Hyattsville, MD as well as special nieces, Lenora Dodge and Chrissy King,  nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
