Obituary

James Edward "Jimmy" Lewis, 33, of Lothian, MD passed away in Prince Frederick, MD on December 13, 2022. Jimmy was born on June 13, 1989 in Cheverly, MD to William Lewis, Jr. and Ann Bladen. He graduated from Southern High School in 2007 and was employed as a tow truck driver with JD Towing.

Jimmy began competing in demolition derbies at the age of 18 and he had continued this hobby throughout his life. In addition to national competition, he was frequently seen at Budd’s Creek and often ended up in the winner’s circle. While derby competition was his hobby, Jimmy's true love was his children. He never missed his son’s football games or his daughter’s softball games or cheerleading.

Jimmy is survived by his father, William “Eddie” Lewis, Jr. of Lothian; his mother, Ann Bladen of Luray, VA; Jessica Donaldson of Lothian, who was his girlfriend of 12 years and mother to his two younger children; his sons, Elijah Lewis Leggett of Luray and James “LJ” Lewis, Jr. of Lothian and his daughter, Taylor Skyy Lewis, also of Lothian; brother Harold McClay of Luray; sisters, Nikki (Danny) Bobbitt of Morrisville, NC and Brandi McClay of Luray, as well as his nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers.
