James Edward Hughes, Jr.

James Edward Hughes, Jr., 63, died in Forestville, MD on July 4, 2014. He was born on March 7, 1951 in Washington, DC to the late Alice Lorraine Mason and James Edward Hughes. James attended St. John's Military Academy in Washington, DC. He lived in Maryland his entire life, with the exception of eight years of military service, during which he was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1972 and pursued a career as a carpenter.

James is survived by his brother, Joe Hughes and his wife Nancy of Prince Frederick, MD; sister, Janice Hughes of Winchester, VA; nephews, Joseph Hughes and Kevin Hughes and his wife Amber; neices, Jackie Rice and her husband, John, and Julie, Eileen, Lorraine and Danica Hughes. In addition to his parents, his brother, John Hughes, predeceased him.
