James Cornelius Hall, 88, of Crofton, MD, formerly of Lothian, MD, passed away in Crofton on November 21, 2021. James was born in Washington, DC on May 16, 1933 to the late Charles Richard and Martha Graves Hall.
James served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and had worked as an auto mechanic. James had a variety of interests and hobbies. He raced at Dorsey Speedway in Baltimore and at Georgetown Speedway in Delaware. Not surprisingly, he was a NASCAR fan. James was raised by a waterman and he loved being on the water- boating and fishing. He was also an animal lover, especially dogs.
James is survived by two daughters, Jeanie Hall and Chantel (Chris) Stubbs, both of Crofton; sister, Shirley Whisman of Upper Marlboro, MD and three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Emma and Scottie Stubbs. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hazel Hall.
