Helena Kromulis

Mrs. Helena Kromulis, 91, of Friendship, MD died at her home on March 19, 2014. Helena was born in Latvia. She married Evalds "Ed" Kronulis to whom she was wed for 63 years before his death in 2011. Helena was employed in a variety of positions, but worked the longest (over 20 years) as a cook in a poultry plant in Delaware. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and baking.

Helena is survived by her son Andrejs "Andy" Kromulis and his wife, Karen of Friendship; a sister, Valerie Valainis of Silver Spring, MD; three granddaughters, Kristina McClain and her husband, Chris of Monroe, NC, Melissa Attenberger and her husband, David of Harwood, MD and Melanie Richmond of North Beach, MD and four great-grandchidren, Aidan and Kaitlyn McClain and Joshua and Sarah Attenberger.
