Hazel Levinia Pierpont

Hazel Levinia Pierpont, 94, of Huntingtown, MD, formerly of Hyattsville, MD, died in Prince Frederick on January 7, 2013.  She was born on August 29, 1918 in Savage, MD to the late Charles and Eliza Banks Reed. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and watching basketball games.

She is survived by her son, Gary Pierpont and wife Anna of Owings, MD; daughter Joann Bosworth and her husband, Jim of Huntingtown, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband of 64 years, Elmer, predeceased her.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 10 am to 11 am at Huntingtown United Methodist Church, 4020 Hunting Creek Road, Huntingtown, MD 20639. Funeral services will begin at 11 am. Rev. Keith Schukraft will officiate. Entombment will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens, Dunkirk.
