Gregory Alan Hood

Gregory Hood, age 59, of Shady Side Maryland, died July 6, 2024. On August 14, 1964, he was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, the son of Patsy Jane Bright Hood and the late Marvin Douglas Hood. Survivors include his mother, Patsy Jane Bright Hood and stepfather; Ronnie Roberts; his three children, Jamie Hood, Emily Boyce, and Dylan Hood; his grandson. Hunter Boyce; his siblings, Terry Rollins, Tracy Turner, Mark Hood, and Graham Hood; the mothers of his children, Miriam Viola Bartel Terhune and Danielle Wallace Hood; and his girlfriend, Ann Clark Parent Gennusa.

Greg served in the Air Force for four years, and over that time lived in Texas, Germany, and Washington. Following his active military service, Greg served in the National Guard and retired in 1994. Greg worked for GCP Applied Technologies, Inc. as an Account Manager as of late. Greg was a part of the American Legion Edgewater and the Fleet Club. Greg was an avid motorcyclist.
