Dear Jackie, Nancy and Michael
I'm sorry for your loss and so wish I had known Gene. He sounds like a wonderful man. Jackie, I enjoyed yours and Michael's friendship while working together in Consumer Affairs at Giant and I got to know Nancy while visiting Florida a few years ago. Of course, I knew Nancy before I met her because Michael always spoke about her as "my Nancy" since she and I shared the same name. He often shared pictures, especially of her artwork. He also recounted how talented Gene was in many areas. He was very thankful and proud of Gene's handiwork on the home they purchased in Florida.
I know this will be a difficult adjustment for you and your family. Keep in mind the wonderful family, friendships and loving memories you built together and that they will aways be with you.

My thoughts are with the Pullman family. It is so sad when a loved one dies. Jesus said in John 5:28 "the hour is coming in which all those in the graves will hear my voice and come out."

It was with great sadness when I learned of Gene passing. I want to express my deepest sympathy to his wonderful wife and extended family. I have known Gene for more than 35 years since our first meeting. At the time my family and I were neighbors in Lothian, MD. Gene was always joyous, kind and very friendly. He was always willing to help out whenever needed. Since that time and throughout the years my late wife and I have stayed in touch with Gene. After visiting with him less than a year ago and knowing that he was not well he still maintained the good humor and warm and friendly spirit. I am thankful for having known him and certain that God has a wonderful place for him in his kindgom. He will certainly be missed.

To the Pullman family please accept my heartfelt sympathies. Although I did not know Gene that well I worked with his wonderful wife Jackie for 13 years. During that time I learned what a wonderful husband and father he was. One thing that was obvious to me is the love that Gene and Jackie shared for each other and their girls Nancy and Melissa. Jackie, I know how much you will miss him until you see him again in heaven. Love, Pat
