Deondre "Gus" Hawkins

Deondre Augustus "Gus" Hawkins, 20, of Lexington Park, died on August 25, 2011 at St, Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, Md. He was born in La Plata, Md on November 11,1990 to George Hawkins and Phyllis Clark (nee: Kidd). He lived his entire life in southern Maryland, attended Westlake High School in Waldorf  and most recently had been working as a cook at  Tall Timbers Marina. Gus loved fishing and cars, cars, cars.

He is survived by his father, George Hawkins of Bryantown, Md; his mother, Phyllis Clark of Lexington Park; brothers, Kwamaine Payne of Chattanooga, TN; Damion Washington of Waldorf, Md; Dilante Haley of Charlotte Hall, Md and Shaquion Dotson of Lexington Park; sisters, Brittany Haley of Charlotte Hall; Samantha Clark of Leonardtown, Md and Meagan Clark of Waldorf, Md.

Interment will follow service at Heritage Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, Md.
