Christine “Chris” Senner, 79, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed away in Washington, DC on December 12, 2021. Chris was born on October 10, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Roger and Virginia Kowalski Smentek. Chris and her husband moved to Upper Marlboro from Greendale, Wisconsin three years ago to be closer to their daughters.
Chris had been employed by an engine production company. She loved God and her family more than anything. She loved attending church services, stock trading (at which she was very good), politics, antiques, going to rummage and estates sales and shopping at some of her favorite stores, where she was always looking for a bargain. Chris loved talking to people and learning their life stories. She and her husband enjoyed watching old, classic movies, Brewers baseball games, Packers football, the stock market, political news and game shows. She leaves behind many fond memories, and she will forever be missed.
Chris is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Senner; her son, Kenneth (Marysue) Senner of South Milwaukee, WI; daughters, Tracy (Jeffrey) Smith of Bowie, MD, Jennifer Senner of Upper Marlboro, MD and Kimberly (Kevin) McQuade of Waukesha, WI; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, Kenny, Bailey, Katrina, Rachel and Keith and one great-grandson, Carson. Chris was predeceased by her sister, Cheryl Berther.
