Catherine Jean (McClelland) Frye

Catherine Jean Frye, 55, passed away in Prince Frederick, MD on April 12, 2018. Catherine was born on October 5, 1962  in Washington State to J.C. and Loretta Barnhouse McClelland. She had lived in Caroline County, MD before moving to Calvert County six years ago. Catherine was employed as a barber and her interests included horses and craft projects. Catherine's family knew her to be a very spiritual person and a woman who "always put others before herself." Catherine is survived by her mother, Loretta McClelland of Prince Frederick; former husband, Doug Frye of Glen Burnie, MD; son Doug Frye, II of Glen Burnie, MD; daughters, Carley Frye of Denton, MD, Lacey Raul and her husband, Jamie of Ridgely, MD and Kayla Simering and her husband, Brandon of Greensboro, MD; brothers, Rick, Frank, Dan, Jay and Scott McClelland; sisters, Paula and Donna McClelland, Cindy Brown and Retta Mack and eight grandchildren. Her father, J.C. predeceased her.
