John 14:27 Calvin Matthew Brooks III AKA (Stink) departed this life on June 6, 2016 around 10:45 in Elizabethton, Tennessee. He was born on August 30, 1976 in Calvert Memorial Hospital, to the late Estelle Jones and Calvin Matthew Brooks, Jr. Calvin attended school in the Calvert County school district. He worked in fast food service until he married his wife Amanda Paddy Brooks, on January 12, 2007. He worked in Tennessee as a nightclub bouncer, construction worker, and cashier. He had a fetish for dragons. He loved to watch his sports on T.V. and his favorite team was the Washington Redskins. He had a kind heart and gentle soul; he was loved by a lot of people. He loved to play his video games in his spare time. He used to say, “Why have kids, I have a lot of nieces and nephews?” LOL. Even though he didn’t have any children, he was a father figure to all his nieces and nephews. He also loved Melvin Lee Mackall, Sr. as his dad; he thought a lot of him so he called him “Dad.” Calvin leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Amanda Brooks, Calvin Brooks, Jr. (father), Joann Brooks (stepmom), Melvin Mackall (dad), Lettie Brooks (grandma), Lucille Wallace (grandma), Melvin Mackall (brother), Shivon Mackall Daniels (sister), Tiara Boyd (sister), Brianna Boyd (sister), Casey Brooks (sister), Crystal Brooks (sister), Jamal Brooks (brother), Jason Brooks (brother), Lashawn Powell (step-sister), Travis, Marcus, Dominick, and Kelli as his siblings, a brother-in-law, James Daniels, a host of uncles and aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calvin was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle Jones, Willie Jones (granddad), Audrey Brown Jones (grandmother), Calvin Brooks (granddad), Stephen Wallace, Sr. (granddad), and Corey Brooks (brother). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
