Philomena Frances (Russo) Farrar

Philomena Frances Farrar, 91, of Dunkirk, MD passed away on June 4, 2018. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Michael and Raffaela Vertuccio Russo. Philomena was a homemaker. She had attended Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and was a member of the Officer's Wives Club at Andrew's Air Force  Base. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, music, singing and listening to music. Philomena is survived by her sons, Mark Farrar and his wife, Sylvia of Austin, Texas and John Farrar and his wife, Wendy of Dunkirk, MD; daughters, Barbara Farrar of Frederick, MD and Janet Carter and her husband, Chris of Moran, Texas; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband, Billie Lee Farrar, passed away in 1992. A graveside inurnment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be announced.
