Patricia June (Kelley) O'Malley

Patricia June O'Malley, 90, of Chesapeake Beach, MD passed away in Annapolis, MD on September 21, 2018. Patricia was born in Watertown, NY to the late Claude and Minna Kiser Kelley. She married James O' Malley, Jr. in 1964  and the couple had four children. Patricia had lived in Maryland since 1997. She had been employed as a secretary for a detective agency. Her interests included reading, listening to and singing opera, ballroom dancing, watching horror films and roller derbies and managing to be a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan in a house full of Redskins fans. Her family insisted she could hold her own, as she was noted to be sarcastic and sassy and quick to display her wit. Patricia was very active in scouting as a den mother. For her dedicated service of over 35 years, she received the Award of Merit. Patricia is survived by her son, Samuel O 'Malley of Chesapeake Beach, MD; daughter, Melody Wright of Chesapeake Beach; grandchildren, Melana (Joshua) Becker of Deale and Robert Duncan of Deale; great-grandchildren, Chloe Credeur; Maximus Becker and Jimmy Stowell and great-great-granddaughter, Charlotte Stowell. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, James; sons, Paul Jordan and Robert Duncan and grandchildren, Samuel Gemeny and Laurie Stowell.
