Jane Theresa (Voigtsberger) Thur

Jane Theresa Thur, 87, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed away on May 3, 2018 in Cheverly, MD. Jane was born in Washington, DC to the late William and Myrtle Dove Voigtsberger. Jane was a homemaker, who enjoyed duckpin bowling, reading the newspaper, watching sports (the Nats or the 'Skins, maybe the Ravens) or her favorite show, "Dancing With the Stars." She had been a volunteer at Doctor's Hospital in Lanham, MD. She was a strong woman, a breast cancer survivor and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.  She is survived by her sons, Joseph, Jr. (Susan) Thur and Jeffrey W. Thur; grandchildren, Steven (Becky) Thur; Kristi (Mike) Stange and Daniel Thur and great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Aidan and Alexandra Thur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M.
