Dayna Renee Lancaster

Dayna Renee Lancaster, 43, of Churchton, MD was called home by the Lord on February 7, 2018. Dayna is survived by her father, Russell Lancaster, II of Lothian, MD; brother, Russell Lancaster, III of Churchton, MD; sister, Jaclyn Peacock of Churchton, MD, her beloved children, Kayle, Leonard and Keegan, her four nieces and two great-nieces. She is also survived by her grandparents, aunt, uncles, and many cousins in Frostburg, MD and Cresaptown, MD, as well as her life-long best friend, Cathy Grierson of Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her mother, Debra Lancaster. Her family and friends will remember her for the beautiful, funny, smart sunny beacon of light that she was. She was a graduate of Southern High School and a paralegal graduate of Fleet Business School. Dayna's greatest accomplishment was her three sons. She adored and loved them. She also took great pride in being an aunt and great-aunt. She was know to have carried with her the photos of loved ones and peanut butter cups, which she never went without. She enjoyed organizing and cleaning, with the thought process that it wasn't clean unless you used bleach. Dayna was a talented artist, ending every hand-written letter with a drawing. Our broken hearts will always feel the loss and emptiness of her absence.
