Charles John Clayton, 76, of Suitland, MD, formerly of Morningside, MD, passed away on December 15, 2018 in Prince Frederick, MD. Charles was born on August 4, 1942 in West Virginia to the late William and Ruby Semones Clayton. He had worked as a maintenance engineer for Wonder Bread. His hobbies included racing cars, especially Fords and enjoying a cold can of Pepsi. He is survived by his daughters, Suzie (Danny) Griffith of Prince Frederick, MD and Melody Clayton of Chaptico, MD; brothers, William (Shirley) Clayton of Myrtle Beach, SC; Abe (Billie) Clayton of Cambridge, MD and Dennis (Charlene) Clayton of Welch, WV; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Clayton.
